Bird Watching on the Internet

One of my favorite hobbies is bird watching on the internet, and I’ve had some luck finding rare birds lately. Luckily I keep my camera with me at all times.

I spotted this Grey Phalarope while managing my netflix.

I almost missed this feisty little BlueJay on google images.

A cute pair of Cedar Waxwings perched on the lower corner of my screen while I was browsing hulu.

This majestic Martial Eagle nested on wikipedia last fall.

I was so excited to see this Red Flanked Blue Tail, but he flew away just after I took this picture.

I never thought I would have the pleasure of finding a Perigrin Falcon on my very own Delicious Page!

I think Google Images has a bigger influence on the visual definition of an object than a dictionary.

If I got the number one hit for the word chair in google images, then I would have some ownership of what chair means to many Americans.

I am going to encourage my children to continue naming the next generation Ryan Pattie III, Ryan Pattie IIII etc. So When it gets to Ryan Pattie the 30th I will finally have a use for my unused domain name RyanPattieXXX.com
